Jim Davey received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from San Diego State University in 1986. He is a Registered Investment Advisor with a Series 7 Securities License, a Series 66 Investment Advisors License and a CA State Insurance License. Prior to joining CCM, Jim was a Financial Consultant with AXA Advisors in San Diego, specializing in Investment Management, Retirement Strategies, Tax Advantaged College Funding, Insurance Solutions, Estate Planning and Wealth Distribution.

Jim is also a Real Estate Broker and partner with Cypress Realty & Mortgage in Carlsbad. His twenty plus years experience in the Real Estate Industry includes being a top producing Broker Associate Realtor with Prudential California Realty in the Encinitas and Carlsbad offices, the principal and owner of Davey Appraisal Services with offices in San Marcos, Glendale and Santa Clarita as well as a Chief Appraiser and Real Estate Consultant for TRW Lender Services.

Jim, his wife and four children reside in the La Costa Oaks area of Carlsbad just north of Encinitas. In addition to his strong work ethic, Jim still finds time to give back to the community. He has been actively involved for many years with fundraising, event planning and volunteer work for the local schools. He has also enjoyed coaching and refereeing for the local youth soccer leagues as well as coaching in the LCYO baseball program. His hobbies include a variety of outdoor activities such as cycling, running, golfing and going to the beach. Many evenings and weekends you will find Jim at local tracks and soccer fields supporting his children.
